So tell me.
Why do we listen to music?
I remember events by relating a particular song to that event;
and that song will almost always be the song that's on 'repeat' mode when that particular event is taking place.
and yes,
wouldn't life be so much better if there was background music?
Try putting yourself in the situation where an unwanted event is about to take place. If background musics do exists in life, then you would know by the suspense music which acts as a foreboding indication that something unfortunate is likely to happen.
Try creating your own scenarios with the different genres of songs and the mood of the songs too.
I bet, at the end of the thorough analatical thinking process, you would want life to have background music too.
