we're a happy family.
A farewell to my two grownup babies, Fancie & Pipin.
I think it is right about time we introduce them to new turtles and let them have their own life.
It is the best timing to give them the freedom that they'd longed for.
Hopefully they will have a much better life with all the other wild turtles, make new friends, erm have their own families perhaps?
I love these two and will always always love them.
Dont worry, i will pop by once in a while to give them their favourite big fat prawns and i'll make sure this time the two of you will share it with your new friends.

ok shit, im crying.
I know this is insane, crying over turtles but they've been with us for more than 2 years and that's more than enough time for a special bond to develop.
Sigh, ok moving on.
I swear everytime i go back to this entry i'll start welling up in tears again.

Ok if any of you have anything negative to comment on this, about animal rights or on the cruel nature of humans to adopt pets and releasing them into the wild when they are grown up or whatsoever, i'll appreciate it if you keep those comments to yourself. Thank you.
I am very aware of that and i think it is more cruel to leave them in the petshop, no one buying them, let them grow in the small damn tank with hundreds other unwanted turtles and leaving them to die one by one.
At least i'd saved 2 of these turtles from the misery and make them happy, given them fat prawns everyday and they have the freedom to roam around the house.
haha ok freak but yeah. They know better to shit around the house ok because they shit in the toilet. They are toilet trained.hehe
ahhh sayang my babies, ok i just cant stop talking about them.
Ok seriously, moving on.

Back to our annual tradition we will select one family to host the event.and this year, it is Maisarah's house.
so the rest of the families, as usual, potluck, with different food which i got really lazy to take the pics so here are just some of the foodie goodies we had.

Curry prawns (ok, im thinking of my babies again :( sad lah, tsk.)

We had real Shark's fin too, but i shall not post any picture of it, yes, due to animal rights.
It was kinda sad. Some of my family members refused to eat it, i had some just to taste how it's like and i came to a conclusion that it taste like some umm fishy tough jelly.
So, killing those sharks are really not worth it people and leaving them to die in the sea is totally inhumane.
I will never eat any shark's fin from now onwards.

My babywalrus surprised me with a special lunch, made by, you bet, him.
What more can a girl ask for?
Your man cooking in the kitchen, and that is the sexiest thing.

So i shall stick to my words, that Gordon Ramsey is the sexiest man alive!
(Ok, maybe not)
So what did he whipped up for lunch?
Salmon deep fried with Olive oil, served alongside toasted italian bread with melted cheese and blue cheese sauce, thick soup and potato salad.
And sparkling apple juice "...for a touch of class."
So if you hear me complaining about how sad my life is, how lonely i feel, please remind me to slap myself will you?
'Cos then clearly, i had forgotten about the wonderful people in my life.

We headed back to the west to have a quick dinner at Burger King.
Bumped into Umairah, mak uda and mak ngah who were sitted a few tables away from us.
As babywalrus was Q-ing up to get the food, oblivious to my cuzzie and aunt's presence, umairah decided to swope places with me.
hehe
so that gave a pleasant surprise to my dear Mr.Sufyan when he returned to out table to find a different girl in my place.

I suke sekali.
I decided to get my lil sis her cheesefries and bought the Black pepper chicken meal for the residents of my house. hehe
I thought there wasnt any food at home.
I got home and dad got home together with Siddiq'd family.
And guess what they brought home?
Dark red Bonesteak and many2 packets of mee goreng mama!
Wah family feast lah we all!
Alhamdulillah.
Just scheme through all the food that i ate yesterday, i think i could have gained a few kg, but i didnt of course, i think.
Maybe not yet.
